55lw5600 turns on and turns right back off with a clicking sound
Yesterday while watching my LG 55LW5600 the tv suddenly shut off and kept trying to turn itself back on but all it does is turn on and the LG logo flashes on screen for less than a second then it turns off and repeats. Everytme it does that you can hear a clicking sound like a relay switching on and off.

If the problem only happens upon update, it could be a software issue. However if it happens all the time regardless..
It's most likely a short between the start-up processor signal on the interface board and power supply or 1 of the 2 bad themselves.
You would need to pull out the board, identify those parts, and check continuity in the path. I wasn't able to find a circuit diagram online to tell you the exact location,.
If it's under warranty your best bet is to have it serviced and recommend that fix.
If many others are having the same issue the software is likely the cause and hardware with the opposite.
Hi I have found out that if there has been a power outage, this can cause the LG dongle, to not see the network. What I have done is reset the network through router. Also if you have any media servers, check to see if they are corrupted, which means you may have to remove from computer and install again. Hopes this helps
