Question about Brother MFC-8460N All-In-One Printer
This is a common issue.
Here is the solution:
Pull out the paper tray
On the left of the feed roller there is a black piece of plastic that is a sensor. It is jammed forward. Gently bend it out to the left and push it back until it snaps back into place.
Be careful not to break it.

Pull cassette out and move the rear paper stopper away from rear of paper. leave about 1/8" gap. that should probably do it.
