My totaline thermostat model #p474-0100-a the backlight is staying on and when the furance is running after only a couple of minutes it shuts off and my furance shuts down .

Multiple issues that are not related. If the pilot light goes out then the thermocouple might be bad. If the pilot ignites the gas and everything shuts off, it sounds like the over temperature sensors are detecting heat in excess of what is allowed in the firebox. The thermostat issue has nothing to do with this.

2002 mercury mountaineer just dies while driving it has a brand new battery everything works but doesn't make a noise while turning ignition key

Have you tested for a failed starter or it's solenoid ,
after it stops & you have nothing ?

Could be your loosing throttle position, if a sensor or
ignition coil is bad, that will shut it down

Check for OBD Codes

My furnace draft inducer starts up and the sequence starts. then the pilot comes on and then it ignites the burner, then it will start the burners. Then about 2 minutes later the burner goes out. And

There is a pressure switch that checks to see if the blower is working at full power and if it detects it is not it will shut everything down. Find a little pressure sensor coming off the blower assembly at the end of a little rubber hose. Take the hose off and suck on the sensor nipple and see if you here a click noise, if you don\'t the sensor is probably shot and needs to be replaced. You can find them cheap on ebay. I can\'t remember exactly what they are called something like blower pressure sensor but if it does not work the whole thing shuts down shortly after start-up to protect the furnace.

The car cranks but won't start. There is no spark, no fuel, no injector pulse. I have manually made the contacts in the shut down relay still nothing. I jumped the fuel relay and the fuel pump runs and I...

If you remove the fuel line and crank the engine and get fuel then you could be assured that the crank sensor works but if there is no fuel while cranking then the crank sensor is most likely the fault. If the crank sensor is not the problem then it is most likely in the coil or distributor which the 97 is notorious for.

Mine does the same thing...

If the main light is flashing 10 times you have a door sensor problem. Might be the wiring to the sensors. Nothing else will cause this flashing of the main light.

The power cord is hot but no lights or clock, nothing works.

ok " un plug coffee pot, if you take the base apart you will find the wiring, follow wiring to a round disk on the heating tube ,
that disk is a heat sensor , replace that sensor .

any appliance parts store will have them

sensor is bi-metal on the inside when it gets too hot it shuts power down.
