Windows xp installion does not see my hard drive on Panasonic CF-74

Just a thought but are you using XP Pro SP2 or SP3?

In my experience, only XP Service Pack 3 will see your
Hard Disk Drive, not XP Service Pack 2.

Good Luck!

How to setup a new xp windows

Restart your computer during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup usually the delete or F2 key

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS then using the arrow keys scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

note this will erase you operating system you will have to have an operating system disk to load it onto you hard drive or create a partition to load another operating system

note after you have loaded the operating system you should go back and change the first boot device to failsafe or optimised defaults

after windows has loaded

your computer will automatically restart it might restart 2 times one to finish the installation

the next will be because the operating system is loaded and will boot from your cd

if your installation disk is only a service pack 1 or 2 you might need to create an xp sp3 disk

I have old model computer of wipro but i have not sound driver in this cmpter

With XP home or pro, the sound card may require service pack 2 (at least) or 3 to operate correctly. If your are unable to install the service packs, ( not enough space on your hard drive, say 20 g. or less), then you will need to locate an older style sound card that ran off of win 98, this will still work with your xp set up. This information comes to you from someone who spent hours at a computer store, to finally find out this answer

Hope this helps.

Then reboot the computer.

Continuous loop and cannot charge battery

Windows service pack 2 is a huge update and takes a long time to complete, I will suggest walking away from your computer and having lunch, go to sleep, watch a movie, etc... while the update finishes. If you have already done this with the same result? I would look for a Windows XP SP2 disk (XP with service pack 2 integrated) and try that. Otherwise Microsoft sent out many disks containing the SP2 update itself on a disk, and you could try the SP2 update from one of those (if you can find one) after your clean install.
Good luck.
