Mains voltage in Australia is 230V 50Hz. Travellers from most nations in Asia, Africa and Europe should have appliances that work on the same mains voltage as Australia - therefore you will not need a voltage converter. Notable exceptions to this are Japan, USA and Canada which uses 100/120V 50/60Hz.
If your country does not use appliances within the 230V 50Hz mains voltage range, you will need to purchase a voltage converter. This will transform the voltage from the power outlet into one your appliance can use. You will also need a power adapter.

Power supply different voltage supply will it work in Australia

Unless the power supply is a multi-system* type, the unit will not work in Australia without major modifications to suit the mains voltage. The differences between USA and Australian voltages are significant. We use a higher voltage rating for appliances than America does, and appliances made for Australia operate at around 220-250V AC.

In order for it to function correctly and safely in Australia, the power supply would need major modification, which can prove expensive, and often impractical.

My uk printer photo smart C4180 is not recognising black ink98 and colour95. i cant find any other suitable inks in australia

Buddy you need to contact HP Support. Your printer which you bought and were using in UK is not regionalized for Australia so contact Australia HP Support and get your printer set to that region and then the cartridges will work which you buy in Australia.

Dont worry if your printer is out of warranty,You will get free support because you are facing regionalization.

I have moved to australia from South Africa I have a Pfaff Creative Embroidery machine, do I need to change the voltage from S.Africa 220v to Australia 240v.URGENT please advise how this is don if need...

no, it will definately run fine in Australia.Electricity in South Africa is 230 Volts, alternating at 50 cycles per second which is the same as Australia. The voltage in Aus and SA will be somewhere between 220/240v most of the time.
