C500 internal keypad

Keypad of mobile is not working may be internal keypad required, is it possible to replace and from where i could get it

If your keypad does not respond after power on, and Home screen looks normal, and NO keys respond, then it is likely not a key problem. It may be a software problem.

You can try a Hard Reset of your phone. See my previous C500 problem responses as to how to Reset your phone.

If you are half-way handy, you might try looking for an obvious hardware problem by disassembling phone to point of keypad cable-to-printed circuit board interface. Clean interface and unplug/replug cable. If this works, it will save you from losing your personal data and app files due to a Hard Reset of the software.

I put my Frigidaire Electrolux oven in cleaning mode an hour ago. It is now beeping non stop with "F1 Err" on the screen. Nothing I push seems to work


The F1 code indicates a control failure. Try pressing a key to see if it displays on the screen. If not, the keypad may have shorted and requires replacement.

If the keypad is fine, there is perhaps a problem with the internal checksum; disconnect the power for 30 seconds and reconnect it. If the code remains, you must replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
- If the F1 code appears when the oven is running, it means that the oven senses an overheating condition. Use an external thermometer to check the temperature inside the oven.
- If it is accurate, it means that either the temperature sensor probe or the control relay has malfunctioned. Disconnect the power, and inspect the sensor probe, replacing it if necessary.
- If the oven is actually overheating, replace the EOC.
- If the oven is allowed to overheat, the resulting damage is possibly so extensive that the entire oven may require replacement.

The red key to switch on the mobile doesnt work so how to switch on my mobile


You particular phone is quite sensitive model
there are three possible reasons,
1::: the flex cable (it is a ribbon that connects the upper face to the lower one) might be damged or a line is cut
2::: the Keypad IC driver is damaged(it is the ic which controls the keypad functions)
3::: the keypad membrane might have accumulated dust and other debris(clening is required)
all of the three cant be performed by the user alone, thus, i suggest you bring it to a technician, slide phone are quite sensitive, being it having a flex cable, so no user can perform this without the proper training and tools to do so.

Installation of SPV C500 windows mobile OS


You can do a Hard Reset which will reset your phone to its original factory settings. Any applications or personal data you put on the phone since owning will be lost. You can recover personal file if you have backed them up, of if you have License 'Key' numbers you got when you purchase them. Some App suppliers will have you an record and will email your Lic # if your email has not changed since purchase.

To Hard Reset, turn off your phone and then turn it back own while holding down both left and right soft keys till you get a screen asking if you want to Reset it. Another Hard Reset method, if you can get to Start Menu/Accessories folder when phone is powered, is choose Clear Storage and clear the storage. This may not work on some phone models, but note this method will also reset your phone to 'as purchased' state, with all stuff you added since removed.

Note a Soft Reset is the same thing as just turning phone off then back on as normal. It does nothing but re-power your phone, but a Hard Reset recovers your phone operating system from phones MFG ROM and resets it back to original as purchased state.

Workpad c 500 chunk overlocked problem


when trying to print a screen after saving information, i get the message line 3061 chunk overlocked. lt requires a hard reset to get the ibm workpad c500 to work again, and the information that was entered prior to the message is lost.
