Check the voltages, on the settings that are listed on the sticker top right they are va, ve, vset, etc.. take the black lead, and ground it. take the red tip and test each setting located on the power board. if there are more than 2 mismatches, its the power board. make sure ur ground for safety precautions.

Hello, definitely if your fuses are blown and your not able to circut trace and find the fualty compnents on the pb then repalce it with a working power supply this may help but also keep in mind you may want to check everything out first get your models service manual so you can verify voltages at test points. something is cuasing the fuses to blow so if you do change the power board and you blow the fuses again then you will need to trace the circut and find out where the short is and what panel or part is cuasing it .

hope this helps

hello, at this point the supply is known to be fualty dont be scared change it. i had a similar problem with my panasonic 42pz700u plasma, no picture and red power light came on nothing else i changed the board and it back to normal.usually the power supply feeds all the boards if theres a fualt in the power board you get no picture change it out see what happens. you can find one online for cheap at auction sites.

your question about tracing the circut you would need a service manual for your model tv, i only have panasonic and a few other manuals i dont have your model number.

but you can find a manual at a online manual download site do a search for your model number service manual some are pay sites so search around i had to pay for mines it was about 25 bucks..

so to trace your power supply you would need your power supply schematic and that is in the service manual..

there are allso some fault repair tips for your particular model

like i said you need your service manual for this..

    good luck hope this helps

My Dell Plasma W4201C will power on but has no picture or sound.

Your MOBO or your video card is likely burn.So you will need to troubleshoot the MOBO first and the if no solution or MOBO is fine do the same with the video card.

Most cases the Y-SUS, Y upper buffer, and Y lower buffer is the problem. The replace the 3 boards are located on the left side of the chassis when you open up the TV. 90% of the time this will solve the problem.
Look for burn marks on the upper and lower buffer boards (mostly around the chips with the heatsinks on them).

Hello. It looks like I have the same problem that you had with your Dell W4200HD.

Where did you find the new power supply for yours?

Also, did you determine that you didn't really need a new power supply and that it was just a connection problem? If yes, could you please give me some help with what you did to get yours working.

Also, do you still have the power supply you took out of your TV? If yes, would you be willing to sell it to me?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.
