SOURCE: Bucherer Day/Date Setting Problem

You have to change day by the means of moving hands clockwise. Move as long as the desired day appears in window, then adjust the date and set time. Rate me, plz.

Testimonial: "Thanks so much. I thought I had tried what you suggested already, but apparently I hadn't. The watch is now set correctly. Thanks again!"

SOURCE: can't set day and date on cote d' azur watch

Actually I can't solve this. My son bought the same watch on a Carnival Cruise and had the same problem. Upun closer inspection with a magnifying glass, it is obvious that the hands on the day and date dials are fake!! They are just attached in the center to the watch face. The other two push knobs on the watch also do nothing at all. So basically a rip off, but at least it was only $20. At least it keeps time for now. As usual, if it seems to good to be true, it almost always is. Sorry about that, but we are in the same club with you.

On most.  Turn the winding screw anti-clockwise until it clicks and pops out slightly. Pull it all the way out or half way out to change the time or date.

I purchased a Cote d' Azur watch & necklace set on a cruise ship recently, and can't seem to set the other three functions on the watch. There is only one pin but there are three addtional...

One of the dials should be seconds so you won't be setting that, the other two should be day and date, when you pull the stem and crown all the way out you can set the time there is a halfway setting ( pull the stem halfway out) if you turn one way it's the day of the week the other way is the date. Hope this helps! Also what appears to be a second hand on the dial a lot of times is actually a stopwatch.

I can not seem to pull stem out of my analog timex wr 50 watch to set day and date. Only pulls out far enough to set time. This is the second watch that this has happened too. I returned the first one to...

most of the time with watches, there are two "pulls" on the stem to set the date and the time. normally, when you pull it out all the way, that's the setting for the time. so i think you've pulled it all the way out. try pushing it back in, then give the stem a soft pull. you'll feel about halfway, it stops a little bit. that should be the setting for the date.
i hope this helps

How make the hour(time )setting

Both the time and the date are set via the winding stem. To set the date, pull out the stem to the first "click" and than turn it and watch as the numbers change. To set the time, pull out to the second "click" and then turn to set the time. Some watches have a screw-down stem crown. If yours does, simply unscrew it by rotating in a counter-clockwise direction until it releases and pops out slightly.

If your watch has a day calendar function it is important to not attempt to set the hour or change the date if the current reading is between 10 PM and 2 AM. If you do, there may be some damage to the advance function responsible for moving the calendar.

The easiest way to set the time and day is to advance the date to the day before the current one. Then pull out the stem and advance the hours until the date clicks over. That is midnight and as long as the current time isn't between 10 PM and 2 AM, you're good to go.

Watch is missing user guide, how do I set the Honora 3ATM watch

To set a basic wristwatch, simply pull the crown (the winder button at the 3:00 position on 99% of watches) out gently - it will click into adjusting position. Wind to send time and then push back in again.

Variations on this are: If you have a watch with date display, the crown will have 2 positions, the first click will be to set the date and the second click (fully out) is to set time. If you need to adjust the date, I suggest you wind the date to the day before you need and then use the second click to wind the hands to the correct date. This way you will be able to know if you have the hour at a.m or p.m position and avoid it have the date changing during the day instead of at night.

One last variation for wristwatches is a screw down crown. Some water resistant and sports models incorporate an added feature whereby the crown is threaded so it can be tightened down to avoid water entering - the most common place water gets into a watch! If you have one of these, you simply need to screw the crown anticlockwise until it pops out and then refer to the instructions above. Don't forget to push and screw the crown back in clockwise when you are done

I can't get the date on my F1 right. I set it, but it wants to change at noon or something. I can only make it right half the day. what do I do?

The date change occcurs at 12 O'clock but your watch is set so that it changes at 12 noon rather than 12 midnight. This is easy to correct, simply wind your watch on 12 hours and it will change at midnight.

I have a problem pulling out the stem to set the date on my Roadster. Can you help? I can't seem to grasp the stem securely enough to pull it out. Thank you

mcdevito 75 here, you should be able to get a finger nail just under the stem to lift the stem to set the time, day/date, first be sure the stem isn"t a screwdown type, gasp the stem and turn it to see, if it is a screwdown type, simply un-screw the stem then pull it out to set the time, day/date. If all fails your local or any jeweler can help.

Acqua Indiglo Digital Watch

My watch has 4 buttons (2 on the left, 2 on the right) plus the "Indiglo" button. Use the "Mode" button (lower left) to move between the time and the stopwatch. When seeing the stopwatch, hold the "Mode" button. This will get you to the alarm setting mode. Press the "Mode" button again to switch to the time setting mode. Use the "Start/Stop" button (upper right) to move from seconds > minutes > hour > date > day of week. Use the "Spl/Reset" button (lower right) to change the numbers.
