Microsoft wireless ENTERTAINMENT keyboard 7000 manual. At the top right-side of the board you will find a mouse. Button "OK" not working. What can be done

For the extra buttons to work you will need to install the software that came with the keyboard. If none was provided the instructions will usually tell you a website to get them from.
Here is a link to microsofts site containing downloads for this product.

After the proper drivers / software is installed, the extra function keys should work. If not the keyboard may be defective, or issues beyond the scope of this question may exist such as virus or other interference.

Extra buttons on mouse dont work

if you are not an electronic geek that can tinker with these devices, you already have a faulty mouse, no wireless connection issues may occur. Or you may need to reset the mouse and the computer , then try re configuring your wireless mouse, sometimes software loaded on your system disrupts the mouse settings or are incompatible with the mouse.

Wireless keyboard, some buttons work, some dont

Usually this happens due to the distance between the keyboard and the computer/receiver (if you have one). It could also happen due to interference from another wireless device like a cordless phone. Try reducing the distance, remove any source of signal interference and check.

If this doesn't work and the issue remains with some specific keys, it could be a hardware problem. To be sure, try another wireless keyboard if you can. If it works, its a hardware issue for sure.

you need the usb adaptor that hooks up to the computer then its just a matter of making sure you got batteries you wont need a driver for the keys to work right off the bat but you might need the driver to use the extra shortcuts hp puts on the keyboard.
