Question about Casio FX-9750GPlus Calculator

I know the TI-83 and 84 have a tcdf function... but I have a casio and need to know how to find P-values using t scores.

Hi,

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

goodluck!

SOURCE: how to calculate log value in calculator with different base value

In any scientific calculator log2(n) can be calculated with either ln or log function as
follows

Log2(n)= ln(n) / ln(2)

Or

Log2(n)=log(n) / log(2)

both will give nearly the same answers

SOURCE: how can I calculate a large factorial using casio

Hello,

There is a function to calculate them for you.

In CAS, or Algebra or Tutor Modes, use the x! option

In Run-Math, press [OPTN][F6] to pan right, then [F1] to access the (PROB) menu then enter option number corresponding to x!

The way it works is as follows

number ! [EXE].

Due to memory limitations, you can calculate factorials of numbers up to 69.

Hope it helps.

SOURCE: i do not know how

Hey it is. Okay, so start with a equation: say, y = -(1 |x|). Now type y = -(1 , then press the [OPTN] button, next to the shift. Next press the [NUM] button or F5. The first menu button should be Abs or absolute value. When your done it should look like this. y = -(1 Abs (x)) then graph it.

In statistics, the range of 1-var a data set is the difference between the largest value and the smallest. R=Xmax-Xmin

In functions: the range of a function is the interval (or the Union of intervals) of the real line where the dependent variable takes it values.

Ex: sin(x). Whatever the value of the independent variable x, the values of the function sin(x) are in the closed interval [-1,1]. The range of the functions sin(x), and cos(x) is**[-1,1]**.

**No use of a calculator for finding the range of functions.**

The fx-82MS does not have any built-in functions for calculating the normal probability distribution or its related values. You can calculate it using the defining function or any of a large number of approximations. Alternatively you can look up the values in a table.

Some advanced calculators have the functions built in, and programmable calculators can be programmed to give them. Sadly the fx-82MS is neither.

For more about the normal distribution, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normal_distribution

Sorry but you cannot do that. This is not a graphing calculator. However you can generate a table of values for your function (MODE TABLE) and use it to graph the curve by hand (pencil and paper).

If you need a Casio graphing calculator, one of the cheaper ones is the Casio FX-9750GII. Equivalent Texas Instruments calculators are the TI83PLUS/TI84PLUS.

Storing

=: [ALPHA] [CALC](=)

A: [ALPHA][(-)] (A)

B: [ALPHA][ 0 ' "] (B)

X: [ALPHA][ ) ] (X)

Y:[ALPHA][S<=>D] (Y)

etc.

- To store numerical values in the variables A,B,C,D,X,Y and M you use the [SHIFT][RCL] key combination to access the (STOre) function.
- In what follows [ key] is the physical key and (key) is the SHIFTED key
- ex: store the value 13 in variable A
- 13 [SHIFT][RCL] (STORE) [(-)] (A)
- The calculator displays 13 --> A on top line and 13.000.. on bottom line.

- To recall a value stored in a variable ex: recall value stored in variable A
- Press [RCL][(-)] (A)
- Calculator displays A on top line and 13 on bottom line.

Hi,

First let us repair the terminology.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa and for rating this solution.

First let us repair the terminology.

- You can evaluate any expression (find the value of any expression for a particular value of its variable).Store a value in the variable, say X. Key in the expression and press [EXE].
- You can consider your expression(should not contain a relational operator such as =, greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to) to be a function Y1(x) = expression and graph it, or generate a table for it. You will have several values of the function calculated at various points.
- You can set your expression equal to 0 and find the particular value(s) of the variable (the unknown) that make the equality TRUE. That is called solving an equation.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa and for rating this solution.

Hello,

I assume that by anti-derivative you mean the integral. I believe that you can only calculate definite integrals with this calculator. A definite integral requires that you specify the function e.g ln(x), the variable, x, the numerical value of the lower limit, 0.5 and the numerical value of the upper limit , say 2.

Try this:**INT(sin(x),x, 0, pi/2)**

This calculator can only give numerical values of definite integrals. If you want to perform symbolic calculations, you shoul look towards some other, more sophisticated Casios Casio ClassPad 330, or the TI Voyage200PLT, or the TI89Titanium. etc.

Hope it helps
