stop Turning on.
the reason may be either of them:
1. Hardware faulty.
2. Loose cables/cards
3. Bad CMOS clock.
we deal with all of them.
1. Change CMOS Battery and short free the RAM by jumper(Uou need to check the manual or let me know the model.
2.reseat all the cables and Cards.
Boot the system Now.
Still give a long Beep?
(It may be a Hardware gone bad) But we need the confirmation for HW itself. We may conduct tests.

This issue might happen due to RAM.
To resolve this issue:
Turn of the power supply for your desktop.
Please remove the side case on your tower(CPU).
find the RAM slot and remove the RAM from the Slot.
Clean the RAM terminals with the help of cloth or Eraser.
After cleaning place the RAM on RAM slot.
Now try to turn ON the PC desktop. If it is working thats fine or else you need to replace another RAM to check.
Please refer the below figure to find the RAM Slot and the lock to remove the RAM.

SOURCE: My computer is a dell
6 Beeps in your Studio XPS 8100 computer indicates Video Card failure.
The Motherboard is unable to detect the Video Card properly or not at all.
Try removing and re-seating the Video Card by following the instructions in the link which opens up the Service Manual of the computer:
If the computer still behaves the same way after removing and reseating the Video Card, you may have to get the Video Card replaced...check with Dell about the Warranty and if the computer is still covered under warranty, get the Video Card replaced.
However, if the computer is out of warranty, you can replace the Video Card in the computer with any one of these as per your choice:
ATI Radeon HD 5770
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260
NVIDIA GeForce GTS 240
NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
