I did a factory reset on the laptop and after i had filled in my name and everything it restarted and the acer empowering technology instalation came on and got to process 6/7 acer erecovery and will not go any further do you know how this can be solved?

Instructions Click "Start" and select "All Programs." Click "Acer Empowering Technology," then "Acer eRecovery Management." Click "Acer eRecovery Management" in the Acer bar that appears on your desktop. The "Acer eRecovery Management" window will open. Click the "Restore" button. Click "Restore System to Factory Default." Click "Yes" to confirm. The system will restart and reset itself to factory settings.
Try alt+F10 when windows boot. else try restart your computer start tapping F8 once you see the advance boot options..go to repair my computer..select the language..then enter your user name and password..in recovery options go to factory image recovery.
Back up all necessary data to an external device such as a disk, flash driveor hard drive
Make sure all programs are closed and shut down your Acer laptop by openingyour Start menu and selecting "Shut Down" from the options for shuttingdown and restarting windows.
Detach any external hardware such as an external hard drive or printer.
Press the Power button to boot your Acer laptop.
Press "Alt + F10" on your keyboard when the Acer screen appears atthe start of the boot up process. Wait a moment while Windows loads the resetfiles.
Select "Restore System from factory default" in the Acer eRecoveryManagement window.
Click "Next" on the next screen to continue. Click"Next" on the following destination informationwindow. This will pop up a notice telling you that resetting your Acer laptopwill erase all data and restore the laptop to its original settings andconfiguration.
Click "OK" in the notice window to proceed with resetting yourAcer laptop.
Wait while your Acer laptop is reset to factory settings.
1. Click "Start," "Turn Off Computer" and then "Restart", if it is on.
If your computer is off, turn it on by pressing the power button above
2. Press the "F2" function key on your computer's keyboard to enter the BIOS utility.
3. Use the laptop's right arrow key to scroll to "Main." Confirm that
the "D2D Recovery" is "Enabled." If the D2D option is "Disabled," scroll
down to the option using the down arrow key. Press "Enter" to change the option to "Enabled."
4. Use the laptop's right arrow key to scroll to "Exit." The "Exit
Saving Changes" option will be highlighted. Press "Enter" to save the
settings and exit the BIOS utility. Your Acer Aspire will restart.
Reformatting the Acer Aspire
1. Press the "ALT" and "F10" keys together while your computer is
restarting and the Acer logo is showing to enter the Acer Aspire's
2. Follow the on-screen prompts. Your laptop's hard drive will reformat
and the original applications will be reinstalled. Your computer will
restart after the reformatting process is complete.
3. Enter your name and other personal information when prompted during the Windows operating system setup process.
A slightly different model requires pressing Alt+F10 at the start up and following the prompts. This will wipe the hard drive though, so back up everything important first. You can probably still get the data even if it doesn't boot Windows.
Usually there is a factory image stored on the hard drive and you when you restart your system you hold down either the F8 Key or F10 Key and this should start the recovery wizard. Then you should be on your way
