There are three fans inside. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there.

SOURCE: samsung plasma 50in PS50B550 clicking noise

The clicking could be a loose connecction of the power plug or frrom the main power unit of your TV. Remove your plug and see the ends for burn outs, if so clean and use a different outlet. If not open the set after disconnection and check your main power supply unit for loose connection particularily in the surge protector, the main capacitor, the main drive, diodes or connectors. Wait to hear the sound and use a long insulated rod as a probe to confirm the origin of the sound. Solder or replace the damaged item. Hope this helps . Good day

SOURCE: is there any solution for "check fan 1" Samsung LN40A650A LCD TV

Just fixed my Samsung LN40 check fan #1.Unplug, Take the back off (like 20 screws were hard to find them all) fan is exposed in the middle. Unscrew fan, used q-tips and nozzle tool on vacuum cleaner to remove built up dust gunk. Blew in center of fan to dislodge dust. Screwed fan back on, plugged in to see if fan was spinning to cool TV. It was and the check fan message disappeared. Put the back on. Feeling Lucky no big repair.

I have a Samsung plasma tv model fp-t5894w when i turn it on it will say check fan then turn off

By Check Fan it means that the fan inside your plasma tv is not working. If the fan will not rotate the main system control will detect it show the message that fan is not working to avoid further problems. Its a fan with three wire. Two wire for power and the third on for read the status of the fan.

Just oppen the tv. Locate the fan normally you can find it on the top side. There will be one or two fans in plasma tv.

Remove the fan if its available anywhere near then replace the same with a new one. If its not avilable. The do the following.

You can see there is a spesification sticker on the fan. if you remove the sticker then you can see its bearing. Put 2 drops of any lubricating oil. Roate the fan leaf with finger for some time. Replace the sticker and fix the fan back.
I have added a video which will help you to do the same.

Then power On the tv and check is the fan failure displays again or not. If its displays the same the you should by an new fan.
