Question about Onkyo Ht-r510 600w 6.1 Dts Home Theatre Sys. W/powered Sub, All Speakers, Bundle
Left front side speaker is garbled even when I swap sides with the speakers the speaker plugged into the left side input is garbled. I have replaced the speaker wire and the problem persists. How do I proceed to isolate an fix the problem?

it is highly likely that you're TV is outputting mono sound, hence the left channel only. check your physical connections to the TV and the balance / channel volume on the television as well.

SOURCE: no surround sound
So your saying that you have no rear channel. Some recivers use a single stereo output ic for both sides on the rear speakers. you could have a defect with this IC . Anther thing Im sure you check3ed the obvious ie : the switch is on suround sound? If there is a front to rear fader is it in the middle? Good Luck

Might be over heating. Make sure you don't have anything sitting directly on top of it. I even put a little fan blowing outward at the back of my system to keep it cool.
