New Warmrails Towel Warmer Stopped heating

I purchased a Warmrails towel warmer (#BE6-S) on 12/04/08. It worked for approximately 2 weeks. It failed to heat when it was turned on this morning. The towel warmer was plugged in and the light on the unit was on.

I have had my Warmrails Towel Warmer for several years and it has served me well until today. Reached for my towel and it was both wet and cold, but the amber light was on. Changed sockets but same thing - not heat.

I emailed my problem to Focus Electrics and received this reply:

There is no way to repair it. You could take it to a smalll appliance repair shop, but I'm not sure if the cost would justify it.

The same thing happened to me last night; my towel was cold, the rails were cold, and the switch light was on. It was a Christmas gift last year so the warranty is over. My plan is to call the company then take it apart and see if I can do anything. I am not hopeful.

No they will not. I was told today that they do not stock parts and to go to a hardware store and see if they could help me.

No they won't. I was told by customer service this morning that they do not stock parts for general sale. The rep suggested I go to a hardware store and see if they could help me resolve this. The local hardware (not big box) said, sorry we can't help.

Template for towel rack doesn't fasten support to wall.

Contact the manufacturer and explain the problem, if it's faulty part they will send you another one rather than you giving them a bad name or they may have a quick solution to your problem

Where can I buy a new illuminated on/off switch?

An electronics shop or auto parts store should have one but it might not be an exact fit. If the switch is stuck in the ON position you could just leave it and put a new switch on the line cord.

One thing that might be happening: You could have bought a domain name with some "stink" on it. (Previous user may have abused it by breaking Google rules.) Best thing is to just get another domain name. It is impossible to tell what exactly Google is thinking - we can just surmise sometimes.

Towel warmer break

VegaIf

When yu say th switch fuse do you mean at the wall. Go to the breaker panel and reset also

Unfortunately there is not much you can do unless you have an owners sheet or manual. I believe an internal fuse has blown and I have no way of telling you how to access it

Call Moen customer service and ask them.

If you are handy there is probably a black plastic plug where the cord goes intothe tubing and I bet if you pulled that out you woul find a thermal fuse.

Wait until you talk to Moen then decide if you want to do it

If you do not want to do it take it to a small appliance repair person or vaaccum repair person or your local electrical vocational clas to wor onit

Towel Warmer Troubleshooting

The towel warmers are designed to stay on at a relatively constant temperature to keep your bathrobes and towels fresh, warm and dry. However, should you need to turn the unit off for any reason, usually every towel warmer have an on/off button.
