Question about Cameras

1 Answer

My furby has brand new batteries, I have reset him a lot of times. Every time he turns on he shuts off right away. This is the second ferby this has happened to. Do you have any ideas?

I purchased this Ferby at Walmart and at K-Mart. The same thing happened to both the Ferby's. What do I do now?

SOURCE: When I turn my camera on it stays on for a few

1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera. Please use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher). 2. Clean the battery contacts. a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth. b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera 3. Turn on your camera without the memory card. (If it works then it?s your memory card that is faulty)

SOURCE: Camera says brand new batteries are dead, then shuts down

I haven't been able to use my camera for weeks because it keeps saying the batteries are dead. I read on another site that if you take the batteries out and hold the shutter button down for 30 seconds it resets the camera. I tried it on my Pentax and it worked. The camera shows full batteries on sets that wouldn't work yesterday.

Furby has stopped working only after 2days

Furbys have a very small reset Button under the battery cover , on the lip of plastic that surrounds the batteries , hold this down with something sharp for a few seconds.

I pressed the Refresh button for a few seconds. That fixed it for me after ours seemed to have stopped working.

I'm having the same problem with two furbies off ebay, both brand new in box, from two reputable suppliers. What's the odds that all seven furbies have something wrong with them? Small to nil. I think it's the batteries, we're not feeding them 1998 batteries and I dont think they like it too much.

Please help us start our Furby. It's never been used.

I just purchased an older Furby in a box too. It also wouldn't start up, even after I reset it several times and put in different batteries. Finally I just set it aside, with the batteries still installed, and it started up by itself about 30 minutes later. After it went to sleep I pushed on it's head to restart it, but it needed to be picked up and restarted by pushing the bottom a couple of times. I "fed" it until it "burped", and it seems pretty energetic now. :-)  Hope this works for you.

Furby won't work

Have you tried restarting? It's different from resetting. You have to keep his tongue down (as if you're feeding him) while resetting. This worked for me when Furby didn't move, only made sound. Good luck! (If you still have it, it's May already)
