That is in fact a problem with the printers fuser, which melts the toner to the paper. You should replace the fuser (part# 675K65654). To replace it open the front door, and at the top right you should see a gray clip you push down and then slide the fuser out starting with the right. When installing the new fuser slide the left side in first and then the right. Iteminc.com has this part in stock and ships same day. Hope this helps, good luck. Thanks for using FixYa!
