Question about Skylink Group Home Security
Also all other sensors work and setoff the alarm. The door sensors and the motion sensors both trigger the alarm to sound off loud and clear. So the system itself is working it seems it just doesnt pickup the signal from the flood sensor but I do see the red light flicker on both the sensor and system panel. It is almost so fast that it doesnt stay on long enough to trigger the alarm. Is there an adjustment to hold the signal longer. Thank You Bill S.

I think this is by design. Look at the instruction manual and it should tell you. This doesn't make sense that they should be on, but they may have a reason for it in their design. Now to the bulb saver technology thought, you are mostly right here. There is a lot of "strain" if you will on the filament when starting it up and it does cause a weakening over time. You will notice that when a bulb goes out, it usually happens right when you turn it on. The same thought here. I suppose in this device, that a constant voltage (low) is better and more efficient than zero voltage to 120 volts. They probably take into account the sensor will be used several times a day thus making the need for this kind of set up even more demanding.

Anytime the main light flashes 10 times and the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem or the wiring to them. Nothing else causes this symptom.

SOURCE: Motion sensor disarms itself
the system is set up to bypass the motion if a door hasnt been opened during the exit delay. you can either open and close a door everytime you arm the system or if you have access to the installer you can delete option 52 and that will fix your problem

SOURCE: Skylink Sc-100 has no sound
Before testing the security system should be reset. This systems are programmable and sound can be muted. Reset is done cutting power and removing internal battery.
I know it may look silly, but check the solder joints and wiring to the speaker. Check if there is any voltage going to the speaker.

Neighbor's cat got into my garage when I left the door up. He knocked into one of the sensors which now blinks red (the light on the other sensor is a constant green). Now I can open the door with the remote but I can't close it with the remote. I have to hold the wall button to close it. Can you please tell me how to re-align the sensors? Thank you.
