Question about Televison & Video
Check the batteries in the remote or put new ones in it and try that..start with cheapest and easiest fix its first..maybe your to far away from TV.or something is blocking the remotes harmless laser signal to TV.If that doesn't work, the TVs remote pickup might need replaced..not much for it,but then there's the Tv repairman's price is a different story...do you know any handy with electronics teens or neighbors, just make sure their confident and not wannabes..you can also punch the problem up on computer and get an idea of what the problem is,go to a few sites, youll get a better idea that way,hopefully.....and if its an old tv,you might want to think new tv...is it on warrenty,or one of those 30 day wonders, companies don't seem to have any pride or cofidendence in their work anymore...good luck.

I would suspect faulty capacitors in the power supply. But please get a diagnosis before buying parts !
