Goodman furnace cacf030a2a fan seems to come in but no pilot light... Help??

might need to bleed the gas line at the furnace, if it has not ran in some time the gas gets weak and will not support the flame needed to keep the pilot light lit

My oil furnance is running but when it reches temperature it shuts off and will not come back on until we bleed the lines

You have a small leak on the suction side of the pump between the tank and the pump. when this happens the pump looses prime each time the furnace shuts down and when the furnace tries to fire up again the saftey device trips before the oil gets to the burner.

How to bleed water furnace

Maintaining water pressure and keeping the circulator pump running, go to the furthest bleeder and remove any air at each bleed port working your way back to the furnace. You must maintain water pressure or you will have to start all over again.

We need to bleed the line from our underground propane tank to our Coleman furnace. We recently put the tank underground and had it refilled. Cheryl

you need to purge the line of air do this outside first , you will also need to do this at the furnace crack the joint at the gas valve /service valve ,but propane is heaver than air so be very carefull doing this , or call in a gas fitter to do this job

Furnace starts flame come on 3sec then goes out it doe,s this 10 times then starts and runs but air feels cold coming out warm not hot like before

Sounds like you could have 1 of 2 problems:

1. The flame sensor is dirty. The flame sensor is a small rod just a little bigger around than a pencil lead. It is located in the burner section just a few inches left or right from your glow ignitor. The flame will surround this sensor, but it the sensor is dirty, it cannot sense the heat of the flame. Take the sensor out of the furnace. It generally has one screw holding it, and one wire connected to it. Use emory cloth or light sand paper, or even a small wire brush to clean the sensor. DON'T GET IT WET.

2. You may have air in the gas line. This happens especially if the gas has been turned off to the house. You can bleed the gas line by loosening the gas line connected to the furnace. (furnace turned off) Bleed it just for 10 seconds or so, tighten the gas line, check for leaks with soapy water, and try the furnace again. You may have to do this more than once.

You need to change out the burner orifice, change the filter and make sure there is pkenty of oil. Bleed lines at brake like valve until there are no bubbles present.

I have a RUUD heating and air unit, Model number rrka-a042jk10e. This connected to a propane tank, we had ran out of gas and now it is refilled but now the piolt will not light. Is there a reset button

Thanks for your Question,
you will need to bleed the line, as you have air in the lines, once you bleed the line it might take a few trys to get it lit again, but keep trying, it should light, one other thing you may want to do as well after you bleed the line, go to the breaker panel and shut the power off to the furnace, wait about thirty seconds then turn the power back on, that resets the circuit board, then try lighting it, let us know how it went, thanks again,

My gas furnace that came with the Mobile Home I just purchased will not ignite the Pilot Lite. All valves from tank open, followed instructions. No Spark

Try lighting all other gas appliances first. On a new setup air in the lines between the tank and the furnace takes time to bleed out before the gas reaches the pilot light.
