This can be done under camera setting if this model is able to do this.

I get grainy pictures in sports mode. What changes should I make to get them clearer?

Try reducing the iso and/or having more light available to reduce the gainy because the iso number is increased to compensate the increment of shutter speed but it's an auto mode so probably you can't and will have to learn to use P or manual mode. =)

What is a Good Iso for a good picture

ISO refers to the sensitivity your camera has to light when taking a photograph.

A lower ISO value is generally better as a high ISO value can reduce the quality of an image and cause it to appear grainy or noisy. Therefore, you should always aim to use a low ISO value. When outdoors in a bright light, an ISO value of 100 or 200 should be fine.

Higher ISO values can be used in situations where, perhaps, you are indoors, there is low light or you cannot use a flash. A higher ISO value such as 800 or 1600 can be used to compensate for the lack of light and it will brighten the image for you. A high ISO value can also be used if you wish to create a grainy effect in the image but this can be easier to achieve afterward on a computer.

How do I reduce the 'noise' in my photos - they are in focus but almost fuzzy? Ihave a canon S3IS

Zooming in too far will make your photo appear fuzzy if your camera has Digital Zoom.
For more info on Digital Zoom: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_zoom

Also low levels of light may degrade the quality of the image(depending on your settings)

My new canon550d has a lot of colored noise trouble in the pictures..suggest me a solution..

Check your ISO setting. If you have it really high it will introduce a lot of color noise to your pics. I rarely shoot above ISO 800 on my 40D to reduce noise in the photos. If your ISO is low then you may have a problem with the processor.

Dark pictures at times on auto is there a fix? Camera Fuji s1000

when you think that there is less light or whn you are taking a picture indoors or during night times under auto then reduce the ISO acordingly like if the lighting is of the indoor lighting then you can place the ISO at 80-200

if outdoor and during night time 80 or below and so on depending on the light conditions

the lower the light the lower the ISO
this would increase the shutter time though improving exposure quality

happy clicking

Reducing noise for DSC-P72

Rendrat: I just got a P72 and am wondering what settings you are using. Are you using Auto ISO? If so, the ISO will increase to 250+ with the flash and any significant zoom. It's a pretty weak flash and increasing the ISO is the only way to get sufficient range. You will definitely notice the noise at ISO 250.

Noise at High Resolution Photo on P72

I'm afraid the Sony P72 doesn't stand up too well at high ISO settings ISO 100 or 200 aren't bad but once you try ISO 400 you're guaranteed to get that blotchy noise. It's just the camera and you really can't do much about it except increase the light level or scale down the finished shot to make the noise less noticeable. Experiment with lower ISO settings and slower shutter speeds. BMW

How does the ISO work on a Digital Camera

Basicly the charge in each pixel on the CCD chip is sent to another chip that converts it to a number. The charge can be amplified before conversion to get larger numbers. The more the charge is amplified the higher the ISO rating, the problem is that noise is also amplified. Just like if you turn up the volume on a weak AM radio station the static is also louder. I'm not sure how the cameras decide on what ISO to use in auto mode, each one is probably programed a little different.
