Question about Washing Machines
I am a Sear's tech and it is the bearing more than likely, I also own a cabrio myself. Is it a loud, constant roar when it spins? If so you have to replace the tub itself, comes with the bearing. Pretty time consuming job, but I've done several of them. The tub might have a 10 yr warranty, check your owners manual. If not, here is the tub to order.
The tub comes as a complete kit with all the seals and bearing.
Keep me posted!

SOURCE: Cabrio won't spin
F then 50 flashes when the motor rotor
position sensor (RPS) senses no rotation.
➔ Does basket turn freely? If not, make sure
bottom shipping pack has been removed.
Determine cause of friction
its SD not 5D
Sd is displayed when the machine/motor control, by analyzing drag on the basket, detects a suds-lock condition, and is steady on while the control then runs a mini-clean out cycle. If the clean out cycle is unable to correct the over-sudsing problem, the cycle ends and Sd flashes in the display. This may signify: ➔ Load is bunched or twisted around agitator. ➔ Excessive detergent usage. ➔ Basket cannot engage during drain step. ➔ Mechanical friction on drive mechanism, not allowing basket to engage.

if it's making a noise then either your drain pump bearing is going out or your thrust bearing is going out (assuming the noise happens in both spin and wash). Tip the washer backwards so that you can get underneath of it. Take the belt off and spin the pump pulley on the right side. This should spin effortlessly.
The middle pulley is the trustbearing pulley. Spin this--- one direction it should have a little bit of resistance--- the other should have more resistance
