Clarion cz 202e - display setting

Can anyone advise how to alter the default display setting where the unit simply scrolls through the various features? I would really appreciate keeping it to the track detail if at all possible. Many thanks

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: clarion cz 209 problem

Hello sashunter,

The most likely cause for the problem is that either the power antenna lead or the amp remote turn-on lead has shorted to ground somewhere behind the dash.

Pull the unit back out and make sure that the ends of all of the unused leads are completely covered.

The best way is to use an insulated crimp-on closed-end connector on the end or each unused wire. Heat shrink tubing is also OK. Fold the end of the wire back into a "U" shape and shrink the tubing over the "U" overlapping it about 1/4" on both ends. You can use electricians tape as a last resort, but it's messy if you ever need to remove it and sometimes it just comes off by itself.

Hope this helps.

My clarion vz401 is stuck on mute and I don't have a remote how do I fix it

I assume you do not have the brown wire connected to a ground as that will put the unit on mute. The only option I know of is to either reset the unit via the on screen display or disconnect power for a minute or two. Here is a link to crutchfield...scroll down and click on owners manual and you can download it. It appears that this is one of those units that you really need the remote for to access some of the features.

Fogot my passcode

Hi Rondal,

You can restore the default factory settings for your device by pressing the left soft key for Menu and then selecting Settings > Phone > Security. Enter your Phone Only Security Code (default is the last four digits of your phone number) and select Reset Settings. Read the information displayed and scroll down to select Yes and press the OK key. Using the Reset Settings feature will not delete your personal information; it will restore only settings like default ringtone, keypad tones, and display settings.

BT Aura 1500 Quad telephone - calls list freezing

BT gave me solution, which (so far) seems to work:
Reset the software of the telephone to default settings...
On any handset - 1. Press 'menu' 2. Scroll to 'settings' & press 'ok' 3. Scroll to 'base' & press 'ok' 4. Scroll to 'reset base' & press 'ok' 5. 'System PIN' will be displayed - enter '0000' (unless you have altered the default pin number) 6. Press 'ok' 7. Press 'yes' 8. Switch the main base station off at the power & remove the batteries from all handsets for approximately 30 minutes .
This didn't reset my address book (thank goodness) but did reset some other settings, such as time/date, OGM, group ringtones etc.

I need to change my region code to Europe How do i do that?

The device manufacturer predetermines the available setting from which adjustments are achievable elsewhere from factory. First, once a device is acquired from the market, an initial installation has default settings that are capable of alterations with conditions. Products manufacturer for the American market would usually have for regional settings the fifty main land states to include territories at which availability become possible. For example, devices may have for regional settings east coast, west coast, mid western states, and southern states as choice settings capable of alterations. However, device intended for the American market may least have regional alteration feature capabilities. The default regional settings may have been the devices only available settings. Alternately, device may simply disallow settings like with those without any regional adjustment features. Exploring through the device menu buttons should make available any manufacturers embedded setting capable of manufacturer's alterations. If any settings are found on the device, refer to the user guide for step by step instructions on achieving alterations.

Audio goes off by itself & have to turn tv off then on to get audio back why

Appears that the audio volume mute functionalities have been altered to display momentarily shortly to go on silent mode. The TV settings have to be realtered to acquire default audio or volume features during functionality or operations. The type of device connected to the TV mayy simply operate mometorarily shortly least producing sound past several moments. Ascertain the devices with which the TV is acquiring audio or videography. Disconnecting to resestablish upon reconection should perform default functionalities. Refer to user guides for diagnostic performance of TV during operations. Consul technical experts thereafter. Good luck
