You need the above drivers first download and install them
Then go to Device Drivers right click on sound driver and update it
It will go on net and find them and install them

This is suggestion and that is all I had whine because it did not solve her problem so can you download the driver for it off of dell
or has that ben tried already and also can you check in the control panel on audio and see if it is mute
