I have opened the tv to get to the T-Con and the ribbons look good. were the ribbons go from the T-Con board to the screen its in a tight place on the screen that i have to use a very small screw driver to release the tabs that hold the ribbon inplace. On the frame of the screen not the chasis of the TV should i seperate this frame to exposethe T-Con ribbon conector on the screen side?

T-cons rarely fail but it is possible. Like BOZ said, I would check the flex cable connections from the t-con and LCD panel.

It is possible the flex cable that connects directly to the LCD is starting to work it's way loose from the LCD panel itself. It's more common for a board to go but if it's an model it has probably gone through a lot of heat cycles. Sometimes you can get lucky and locate the solder area of the LCD and gently push on the edge that connects both halves. If the picture jumps when you press down, it's becoming detached and there is no easy fix unless you have a new die solder/resin and cable for it.

Good fixes. Sometimes the connector for the cables running from the LCD to the T-CON do not make good contact. You might try moving them around to see if it affects the picture. You can even carefully disconnect and reconnect them.

I have come across one person that fixed a display by resoldering as many joints as possible on the main board.
When these boards are made they use a wave solderer and with the new RoHs standards and shoddy workmanship a lot of 'cold joints' are developing. If you do this, use RoHs compliant solder.

Your backlight controller is faulty and requires repair. It may be due to bad capacitors or faulty inverter transformers.

My 46" sanyo lcd tv screen was all black on the right side and got to where it shut off now it wont even come on

Specifying the model - and in case of Sanyo TVs the chasis - is critical for faster and proper diagnostics of such problems.

Here are a few points of reference, neither of which covers nearly completely the very wide Sanyo TVs line:
