How to fix frigidaire wall oven beeping error message f11

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire wall oven is beeping and showing an F11 error code. Typically an F11 error code states that there is a shorted key, or a button has been detected as pressed for a long time. I suggest hard resetting your appliance, by cutting the power at your homes circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. While you are resetting your oven, make sure to wipe down the control panel. The panel is very sensitive and could be detecting something that has splashed or spilled onto it, even dust. When you bring power back to your appliance you will need to start by setting the clock. Turn your oven on any cycle at any temperature. If you are still receiving an F11 error code, I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

I get a F11 code with beeping noise and the oven controls won't work? what can i do?

Hi Ken Kazemi - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.

I have a frigidaire model fef364dsa and it blew circuit braker and now beeps and flashes f 11

F11 is for the clock/timer board error and will need to be replaced. Here is the part to order.
Be sure the unit is unplugged before replacing the part!
Also, take note of the wire harness connections.

What is the EOC and how much does it cost to replace? Can I replace it myself or do I need a professional to replace it?

I have a Kenmore gas built in oven, model number 790.30179400. It's 5 years old. I just used the oven and it wouldn't turn off. It seemed to be hotter than the temperature I had it on. I have a fuse box in...

Usually F11 is a comunication error and the initial fix is to remove all power for 30 seconds then try it again.

The oven element that did not turn off is a sticking relay on the Electronic Range Control (ERC) board /clock timer that did not open the relay electrical contacts when the power was removed from the relay coil. Or there was an on the printed circuit board (PCB) fault in the ERC that allowed power to remain on the relay coil until you removed power by pulling the fuse.
