Husky 80 Gallon 7.5 hp 230vac Air Compressor will not start.

most likely the start/run capacitor failed
check that there is no pressure in the tank as the gauge may not be correct and that is not allowing the switch to start
not much can be done to fix the switch so the fix is to replace it

MY HUSKY HS781003AJ WONT SHUT OFF

Oil-less air compressor will not shut off if cut off pressure can not be obtained due to worn cyl/ring or leaking fittings. Check for leaks with soapy water and repair as needed. If no leaks then assume that the cylinder and ring is worn. Easy to check with cover removed, turn motor by hand until the piston is at top. Inspect the cylinder just behind the piston for wear. If scratched, air pressure is leaking past the vinyl ring and needs to be replaced. Good luck.

Go to the Campbell-Hausfeld website at http://www.chpower.com/, under the 'Service & Support' tab select 'Manuals/Parts List'. Search for your model number and you'll be presented with the parts lists and manuals for that line of compressors.

How do I tighten the pipe on to the air regulator and the husky 26 gallon tank at the same time? they all need to be turned the same way, I do not understand

This can be a tricky dominoe affect depending whats in the way when you make a complete revolution while turning. Take everything off. If possible screw the pipe into the regulator first, then the pipe and regulator into the tank. If you are not getting the desired postion or alignment when you tighten it, then you will need to apply a few layers of teflon around the thread to achieve proper location.

I have a Husky model Y6010 air compressor.

First remove the valve using probably about a 1/2" wrench but make sure there is no pressure in the tank before you do so. check the cone and seal by loosening the valve by hand and check for debris. If there is no debris then the problem is either the pressure relief valve or weak pressure regulator but may also be a bad piston seal if it is a direct drive unit.
