Question about Coffee Makers & Espresso Machines
I have a brand new Russell Hobbs Elipta espresso and filter coffee maker. The coffe it makes is great, but the espresso grinds are always soggy and have water on top when I have finished making a cuppa. I have tried tamping the coffee as hard as possible, but it made no difference. I am using the correct coffee ... Lovely Illy espresso not filter coffee. The coffee is still delicious and the machine makes a fabulous crema on top, it's just annoying to remove the spent grounds ... Can't just bang it on the bin and have a handy puck of coffee pop out. I have to wash it away. Any suggestions?
