Question about Panasonic Televison & Video
The TV would not change channels so I tried a factory reset but is now frozen on re-tune. It is connected to an outdoor aerial which works fine with all other tvs in the house. Any ideas
Sounds that the firmware have been corrupted. You might have to upgrade the firmware. If you are confident, you can do it by yourself. If not, seek help of any experienced service technician.
Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Click this link. View it in "Timeslide" or "Flipcard" option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu by the [Sidebar] tag, at the top left corner of the display window. You can also click the [Home] tab to the latest updates. It will make search easy. There are more than 1350 posts to different brand TVs now. Pull up older posts there.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hello, one of possible solutions is to replace T7735 by the same type of transistor and L5753 (220uH use 470uH). This is a job for a technician. Best regards, Arpi

SOURCE: tuning in the tv
Most TV's auto search feature will try both the Cable and the Air
frequencies, but perhaps yours doesn't. Go to the menu page for
tuner setup and make sure it is set on Air (might be called broadcast)
and then run the channel search.
Cable channels and Broadcast channels (above channel 12) are not the same frequencies.
Hope Ya Fix It!

First off you need to retire that ps2 and join the PS3 revolution, well worth the money although with the recent drop of the inferior x-box 360 the PS3 may follow suit shortly.
Now, I'm gathering from your discription limited as it may be that you had an adapter that connected the the stock cable that was included with your ps2 which consists of the end that interfaces with the ps2 and the end that is ment to provide the signal to your tv which includes your composite video (yellow) and your left and right audio (red&white).
If this is case then it should be a simple matter of removing the adapter that changed the source (ps2) signal to aerial and pluging the yellow red and white cables direct to your tv (standard imputs at the rear of the television should be video 1,2,3 ect.
Then just make sure your tv is on and set to the correct imput and you should be rockin and rolling in no time.

Hi - I have the same problem. Also in Cornwall LG were not interested in helping because the TV was 3 1/2 years old. There was a possible fix in the end offered via LG at a cost of £180 + vat - a hardware update that might or might not work but I was not going to pay that so I now watch my LG 42 plasma via a £25 digi box from the CO OP. LG must have sold 1000's of these Tv's so when the digital switch starts in the more populated areas of the country I exect many more web postings.

Do any other OTA channels break up on this TV? Look through your setup options menu for a TV reset (memory or restore default or a similar command) . Do the reset and exit the menus (save the action on most TVs); then return and rescan the OTA channels.
On a different brand of TV this worked. The channel had broken up for several weeks; the reset was used when the channel finally became totally corrupted (no video on one sub-channel, no audio on the other).
Some tuners need a stronger signal to be stable; you may need an amplifier on your antenna.
I hope one of these ideas helps.
