Open router configuration page by opening 192.168.1.1 in any browser and type admin as username and password. Now in the new page that appear, click on wireleass and in security tab you will get options to put security key. Choose password, level of encryption and click apply and reboot. Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

How to connect to internet doesnt recognize router password

Are you sure of Wifi password is correct?
if so, 1st; try restarting your ipad by holding down power/sleep button untill it show "Slide to shut down" leave it off for 10 seconds & then re-open it.enter the Wifi -password, sometimes this step works.

2nd solution ; try resetting your iPad network settings, it will not affect your ipad in any thing except it will forget all entered passwords for any wifi you have already connected before. go to General from Setting, choose resett, and inside only reset network setting, shut down ipad & try to connect to the wifi again. Hope this solution work for you. Also you may try shutting down & opening your router again after 10 seconds while off. Good Luck.

How do I reset my wifi password on my Proscan PLT10666? I put the wrong password in (OK, three times) and now it will not go back to the input screen.

Hi. Bonnie, in your wifi settings there should be saved wifi connections, go there and either access the password and change it or delete the connection completely and then start again!

How can i change password on my wifi so nobody else can use it anymore

Most wifi units have an IP address you can use with your web browser to change the wifi password and various other settings.
Look online for a manual for your specific router. Get the IP address for it and put it in the address bar and turn on password and even make your own password.

My internet connection via the router (d-link DI-524) have slowed down. how do i reset settings or put a password?

Maybe you have an open WiFi (no password wireless) and anyboby near can connect to your router and download files, this can slow down your Internet connection. To put a password to your wireless network, enter setup preferably by a wired connection to router, in your browser type the default IP address of it (http://192.168.0.1), the user is admin and its password must be left blank (default settings), at the Home tab go directly to Wireless option since you'll only change your WiFi from unsecure to secure, there you can choose the security type, WPA is recommended, after select it you can put the new Key (password) of your WiFi, and finally apply to get changes working, just remember that after this procedure, you'll have to enter the password in each new wireless connection to your router.
