The memory data of error code is erased when the power supply is cut off, or press the Auto Switch until "beep" sound heard following by pressing the "CHECK" button at remote controller.
Although operation forced to stop when abnormality detected, emergency operation is possible for certain errors (refer to Error Codes Table) by using remote controller or Auto Switch at indoor unit. However, the remote controller signal receiving sound is changed from one "beep" to four "beep" sounds.

I don't work on these, but it sounds like an internal breaker for the motor. Motor old? could be pulling to many amps, gets hot and trips the breaker.

Sounds like sled motor [the motor that help to spin the disc inside] is faulty. This is purely a mechanical fault. Contact any service technician. The CD drive mechanism should be taken out from the device, for repair. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Buzzing

If it is a buzzing noise, it is the Ballast for the lamp.
If it is more of a grinding sound, it is the Color Wheel motor.
Does it go away when you turn off the tv? If so, does it stop abruptly or does the sound tend to get softer (winding down noise)
If the noise stops abruptly it is probably the Ballast.
If the noise takes several seconds and seems to get softer until it stops about 30 sec later then it is the color wheel motor.
