Re: Danby counter top dishwasher power switch problem
In regards to the problem with the power switch , I was able to get the 800 number from the store that we bought it at. Called the number-got right through-and they emailed me a COMPLETE breakdown and parts manual for my specific machine.
And I was able to order the part from them right over the phone and it was shipped out immediately. Very pleased with the service. Any one needs the parts breakdown I can email it to them.

Hi, There is a water level switch in the d/w. located in front corner. You can move it up and down while listening for a clicking noise. Sometimes soap will gum them up so they don't move. when it is overflowing, will the water shut off if you turn the machine off or do you need to turn the water off at the faucet? Please let me know so that I can assist you further.
I know your post is a bit old. I solved this by opening the outer shell and removing all screws attaching the control panel. The power switch needs to be replaced. I looked everywhere (including radio shack and lowes) but sears parts department is the best!
Open the door and after you've disconnected the power supply ,remove all of the screws that hold the inside door liner to your door. They are usually T-15 or T-20 heads. This will give you access you ask about. Please Rate This !
