Question about Acer Aspire 3618AWLMi Notebook
I have an acer aspire and I'm having problems getting pictures from a memory card. It's inserted propperly, but it doesn't pop up in my computer settings.
Most likely the file tables are corrupted and you will need to format the memory card.

You can only do that with onboard video cards. If you have an onboard you can choose how much ram to assign to it in your bios settings. However it is limited and if you already have 128 assigned to it, that's probably about all it's gonna give ya. But hey it never hurts to check
Assigning your physical memory to your graphics card will result a shortage of your total system memory and your whole system will slow down a bit.
Video cards meant for better processing the graphical content of your system and free up your system's physical memory.[via]
So, if you buy a new and better video card with more memory you will have a fast system with better performance.
