Wired or wireless? If wireless try a Ethernet cable to eliminate the wireless device. If wireless connection, is your wireless adapter enabled? Driver in working order? Update driver or roll back driver? Have you updated the laptop?
Yes there is a switch for enabling and disabling wireless on laptops. For Packard Easynote L4 the wireless can be enabled by doing the following actions: 1.press the Fn key (which is in the bottom lefthand corner of the keypad) and press F1(function) key together (Fn + F1) 2. this should enable wireless on your computer.
When the laptop boots up, go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore - click on "restore My Computer to ab earlier time" and click on a date you wish to restore from (before your problem occured).
try press f5 when system is starting up then go safe mode, then try to restore your system to earlier setting with system restore. system restore is located on start/accesories/systemtools/system restore.
