Remove rear panel of washer, slip the belt off, then try the drum to see if it turns, if it does, then the motor is the problem, if it does not, then the main bearings have siezed, or there is something fast between the inner and outer drum..
If it was noisy on spin prior to this happening, then it is more than likely the main bearings that have siezed.
Plz rate my solution.

Thanks.

Hotpoint aquarius wml760 noisey when spinning with stuff in but ok empty

more than likely the rear bearing has gone bad and when a load is applied the difference in weight distribution causes the knocking.

Drum will not move

Try to remove drum belt, and then turn drum by hand, if it does not turn , then you have either siezed drum bearigs, or some thing jammed between the inner and outer drum
If drum turns freely, then check motor to see if it is free to turn.

Water stil appears in drum even when machine is turned off

It is possible that you have a bad water valve. Turn off the water when the machine not in use if the problem stops the water is probably coming in through a defective valve.

Hotpoint aquarius 1100 bangs while spinning

Several possible reasons for this. M/C not level, causing it to move about.
Overloading of m/c.
Loose concrete balance weight, there is one at top and one at bottom.
Suspension spring broken or unhooked.
Suspension leg loose or broken.
Main drum bearings worn, to check this, turn drum by hand and if it feels noisy or rough , then bearings have gone (expensive repair).
There are other possible causes, but these are the main reasons.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Wf000 aquarius

if the drum moves slightly up and down then your bearings are in need of replacing u can also check this by going to the back and taking the little cover of in the centre of the back check around the centre of the spider wheel if there is a mucky water mark then they do need replacing this will cost from £90-£150 to replace love
