Question about Kodak Easyshare C182 12MP Digital Camera

1 Answer

My sd card is stuck in my kodak easyshare c182, how do i get it out?

It is not in upside down, and has been "protected" prior to insert. Is there a way to get it out? It springs out when pressed on like normally does, but when I go to pull out it is stuck. I tried to light tug on it to get it out, but to no avail. We have no camera repair shop around that we can bring it to. HELP!

Hello, Sorry to say you will need to send it out for repairs, There are shops available on the web that can make arrangements to mail it to them for repairs.

SOURCE: i have a problem with my kodak easyshare C310 digital camera

Hi I am Vortash It sound as if you have a damaged pin on the sd card reader within your camera , and it is not reading the cards id correct . It may be just a result of dirt on the pins ( grease from hands touching the sd cards causes problems ) simply try spraying the inside of the sd card slot with a good quality electronic switch cleaner , then put the card in and out a few times to rub the contacts . ( Clean the sd card with the switch cleaner and a clean cloth or tissue first )
CAUTION when spraying the sd card slot make sure the batteries are dissconnected and give the camera ample time to dry before re inserting batteries ..if this fails then a service department will be able to check the reader out for you . ..Hope this helps regards Vortash

,how can I remove stuck Nikon coolpixx p5200 digital camera battery

You can easily tell if the battery is upside down. There will be three brass colored contacts on the top if it is upside down. There is a yellow tab lock that holds the battery in. You must slide that tab away from the battery and a spring should pop the battery out. If the battery is not upside down, but is reversed left and right it does have a tiny bit of a wedge shape but nothing that should bind the battery to the point of damage. If the battery does not pop up after the tab is slid away (you must hold it in this position until the battery rises), try keeping the tab to the left and pressing the battery down a little, then releasing it to see if the spring will eject it. Last resort, hold the tab out of the way, press a piece of real strong adhesive tape, such as a very good duct tape on to the end of the battery and pull. I hope one of these suggestions help. Be sure to read your manual prior to using the camera again.

Whats the largest size memory card i can put in my kodak easyshare c182 camera

The C182 uses SD cards which max out at 2GB and SDHC cards which max out at 32GB, so 32GB is the largest size card you can use.

Unlock memory

Look at the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Hi my spring has come off on the foot release cradle on my Dc25 upright, please could you tell/show (with pictures) where it attaches too. Thank you. Huish Leafy

The spring sits on the right hand side of the cleaner (as you are looking at it from the front) its mounts as an upside down v shape, if you have the spring in in your hand you will know what I mean. You will need to take the half circle cover off to fit it back in. You should be able to see from there where it sits. if not just comment back. Be very careful and I would wear some sort of eye protection as these springs are a light high tension spring and if it flicks off it can cause damage.Cheers gigi

Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Key DOWN turns video flipped upside down. I have some edistors that use this shortcut for code replication. So I would like to disabled this "video flip feature" orat least...

An upside down image - this is caused by unintentionalpressing Ctrl-Alt plus the down arrow key. Restore by pressing Ctrl-Alt plus the up arrow key. ALSO To change the display from portrait to landscape Press Ctrl-Alt plus a left or right arrow key. Some computers do not have this function.

I would like simple steps to transfer VHS to DVD on my Toshiba DVR620KY. I want to copy with the unit alone. Would appreciate your help. Thanks.

Hi ,

Please follow the instructions below to record from VHS to DVD. You may not be able to record from some pre-recorded VHS cassettes due to copyight protection embedded into the recording. You should stick some tape over the copy-protection tab on cassettes prior to recording if the tab has been removed. On some cassettes, there may be a slide switch which needs to be moved to the record/rec position. All pre-recorded cassettes will have the copy-protection tab removed.

1. Switch on the TV and DVD/VCR and select the correct input on the TV for the player.
2. Set the player for the recording direction, i.e. VCR to DVD . . .

- Press the SETUP key on the Toshiba remote to open the on-screen menu
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight GENERAL SETTING then press ENTER
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight RECORDING then press ENTER
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight DUBBING MODE then press ENTER
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to highlight VCR > DVD then press ENTER
- Press the SETUP key again to close the on-screen menu

3. Press VCR to select VCR mode.
4. Insert the cassette you wish to record and fast-forward or rewind it to the position where you want to start recording from. Allow at least 5 seconds extra if not starting the recording from the beginning of a cassette.
5. Press PLAY then press PAUSE immediately.
6. Press DVD to select DVD mode
7. Insert a blank DVD
8. Press the REC MODE button to select the recording mode (XP / SP / LP, etc)
9. Press the DUBBING key to start the recording.

You can watch the VCR while it's recording. When you reach the point where you want the recording to end, press the STOP key. You do not need to repeat step 2 every time you record. The player will stay in VCR > DVD recording mode unless you change it.

Hopefully, you will now be able to record from VCR to DVD. If you need further assistance, please let me know.

Regards,
BElectric
