SOURCE: canon 105 error code e599 only with k3 finisher

I have checked my service manuals AND the Canon website and cannot find the error code "E599". The closest "family" of error codes to this indicate a problem with the hole punch unit. However, it is not beyond the realm of possibilty that your machine is showing a code that was never meant to be seen (service engineering) or a firmware problem. Please double check (I'm sure you have ) again the error code AND....the suffix. For example.... E*****-XXX, the x 's further define the problem. Thanx and let me/us know.

most often I find a bent bearing holder in the fuser causing this, if that is the case you will see the wear marks on the upper roller.i have alsoseen a cracked or broken collar on the fixing roller causing this. I have also had a bad connection on the back of the fuser cause this. and on one instance a pre-transfer corona assy fixed it. most likely it is in the fuser, I have ran into this close to a hundred times and most of them have been in the fuser.

Error code E102-01 for canon ir7095

E102 - A read error has occurred in relation to the laser scanner unit EEPROM data.
theres a good chance that what is needed here is the laser scanner unit has a Beam Detect mirror and sensor and after time gets coated with foreign particles(dust) cleaning these mirrors/sensors will probably allow the unit to work again- this job should only be undertaken by a qualified service personnel, as more damage than good could be caused. if the laser scanner unit appears clean then iut will need replacing.

I have a ir5070 that is getting a E000584 AND E00014. Trying to find a list of error code descriptions but now luck. Anyone know what they mean or why I am getting these?

the error 14 is fixing unit error a dn 584 is finisher shutter error
first disconnect the finisher and solve the fixing error 14
reset the error
copier>function>clear>err>ok and reboot
once the unit is ready to copy run 10 copies to confirm
then connect the finisher and solve the next error 584

for ir 2016, the error code means that something goes wrong in communication between copier and finisher. Try to reconnect all connectors on finisher and on copier slots for finisher or the new finisher pcb is needed.

Hope that helps!

Error 0000500-0000. Finisher error. Ran through disconnecting finisher, turn on copier to cycle, turn off copier, reconnect finisher and turning on again. No fix. Any other way to clear code? (Went into...

sounds like the DC controller and or the Finisher controller have gone bad. Unfortunatly there is no easy fix for this problem. you will need to get someone out to have them checked but if you leave the finisher off of the copier it should still work so at least you can make the copies.

What is an error code E0000500-0000 for? Is it cleared with usual function, 2-8, function, err, clear, ok, power off and on? Or is it something harder to clear?

is a communication issue between the finisher controller and dc controller dc controller for the copier......

you might try unplugging the finisher from the copier and cycle the copier without the finisher then shut the copier off and try reconnecting the finisher if that doesn't fix the problem then you will need to call for service on it.

I get a E0000580-000 code from my canon m-1 finisher

usually a quick fix, something may have gotten under the finisher. Sometimes when this happens the finisher will limit its functions, you can turn it back on under additional functions area and then scroll through the pages. Since its right away error code though i am afraid you will need a tech to come. A motor could be bad or a sensor out of position. Shouldnt be a big deal. Call your local technician.

Canon imageRUNNER 7095 copier has the error code E00057a-8003 ..... can you tell me what this means? can we fix it on our end? Let me know as soon as possible because our copier has been down for 3 days....

This Problem occured with a finisher V1/V1L attached to our Canon iR7095.

The staple unit didn'tmove back to it's initial position. After restarting the printer there was a really strange clattering sound coming from the staple unit.

Problem was solved by removing all trapped pages from finisher and copier. Probably you have to restart several times. The system should reset and move the staple unit back to initial position.

Canon iR8500 with Error E000583-0001

Hello Jeremy,
This error code has to do with your finisher. The auxillary tray is not finding its home position or does not leave the home position within the alotted time. Check for binds. I have limited exposure to the K4/3 finisher but try this. Turn the copier off, and open one of the finisher doors. Now turn the copier back on with the finisher door open so it cannot initialize. Once the copier is basically ready except the finisher door is open, close the finisher door and observe all the **** (and theres alot) initialize. This may help determine the problem. I hope this helps...........................SPINAL
