I have a Maytag Stacked Washer Dryer that is 7 years old. I do not have the model # because I inherited it with purchase of condo. The front states Maytag - Depndable care, Heavy Duty, Large Capacity, Intellidry Control. The problem is that the clothes do not dry in what I would consider average time. There has always been a problem but I have heard from other people that stacks usually do take longer. However, two hours for a set of sheets does not seem reasonable. Yesterday, three bath towels and three hand towels were not dry in 1 hour and 45 minutes so hung them around the house. New metal ductwork was installed a year ago (replacing the white plastic) and that did not help. A technician recently installed a new thermostat - no help whatsoever. He will be back on Monday but I would like some advice. Also - what would be considered a normal load for this type of washer/dryer - I would think 3 large towels and 3 small towels would not be over the "limit". Obviously the dryer is not working properly but
does the spin cycle of the washer ever have to b e adjusted or can it be adjusted to wring more water out of the clothes? Thanks. Karen
