A couple of days ago our printer stopped working. All the lights are flashing, i.e. the on/off light, the paper feed light, and the toner light.
If we turn the printer off then back on and reboot the PC it makes no difference, the lights still flash.
Also, if I lift the hood of the printer, the toners don't move (normally they move in a "self test" style?).
I hope you can find a solution to our problem.

Re: Printer stopped printing, all lights flashing
Sounds like a bad cartridge. 45's, 15's 23's & 78's seem to do that. Replace the cartridge, but try wiping the copper strips on the cartridge and where they fit into the printer as well with some alcohol on a paper towel. if , not, put the old ones back in. if it still does it, it might be simply dying.

the flashing amber status light is normal indicating data going from computer to printer.the flashing paper light indicates a paper jam or out of paper. A sensor maybe not working properly or sticking. If your model number ends in a D check
when i turn the printer on the light flashes amber several times, then green then repeats flashing amber, and back to green etc. turning it off and back on made no difference. last time it worked normally after being off for a couple of days, but now it is doing that again.
Amber light flashes 7 times, then green for a couple of seconds, then amber 7 times etc.
