Lost Wireless Connectivity to Epson XP200 Wireless Printer

We have a secure Microsoft Home Network, and secure WIFI from a Belkin Router. When installing the wireless printer the network can't see the printer and I'm left to manually input an IP address of the printer. Every 2-3 days the router may change the IP address and loses connection with the printer. Also running Norton Antivurus and Firewall, however disabling it does nothing. Any suggestions ~ questions ~ very appreciated.

SOURCE: Hooking up Epson Artisan 800 to wireless. Get all

You must set both devices to the same encrypryption protocol, WEP or WPA. That being said, I had to setup my router using WEP - the printer refused to connect via WPA. Good luck.

You may want to click to wireless network icon on the bottom part on the rght part of your monitor and search for network. Then you may want to chose your network and, if you chosed this option, to type the password for the network.

to make ur printer go wireless its advisable to keep the WPS in the router disabled and activate the security mode WEP instead of WPA in the router. this will solve all the wireless connectivity issues with the printer.

I have cable from wall to comcast modem ethernet to belkin wireless surf router then to my home pc. I am unable to get online with my laptop.

First make sure your wireless network driver installed on laptop. You can check it in network property. For that press windows key +R key so you can see wireless local are connection icon if it is installed then right click on it and enable if it is disable then again right clicck then click on connect then if in your belkin router wireless enable then you can see your router network there. Then connect it. But if your wifi network icon is not there then you need to install it's driver also make sure on your laptop wifi switch is on you can turn on it with FN key + F5 key too. If you want to enable wireless in router follow below . Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. Then click on wireless and enable it then save settings and restart router. You can also set wifi security code in wireless security enable WEP then enter code it is your password to connect wifi. Laptop stopped connecting via wifi to home network.

The wireless settings in the Belkin has been setup with encryption.
You can restore the Belkin back to the factory default by powering up the Belkin and press the RESET button for 7 secs.
It is not wise to leave your wireless router unsecured, anyone can access your network and Internet connection and use up your allocated download limit. Once you exceed your download limit you could be slug with addition charges - this depends upon your contract with your ISP.
For details on securing your wireless router and configuring the wireless card in the laptop, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

Lost connectivity to network printer when switched to ATT u-Verse

Is the printer connected via wireless? When I recently connected up a new wireless printer to my UVerse network, the printer manual said that establishing the first connection works better via an Ethernet cable directly to the Uverse router. After the printer is set up once, then I could remove the ethernet cable and connect to the printer via wireless from all my computers.
For all wireless PCs that were previously connected via wireless to dsl, you need to create a new network connection for each one, then enter the key that is listed on the side of your Uverse router when prompted. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to establish the connection.
I am amazed that ATT was so unhelpful on these issues. I was one of their first Uverse customers in Texas, and several times over the last years, techs would visit my house to solve a problem or hook something up, explaining to me as he went. That their helpful attitude is deteriorating is a real shame.

New epson Printer with WIFI asking for the PIN

You mean the wireless network key?

To get your wireless network key, do the following steps:

1. Open Internet Explorer, on the address bar type 192.168.1.1
2. There's no username and type admin on the password. If admin didn't work, use your own password.
3. When you have the Setup Page open, click on Wireless Tab, then click on the sub-tab Wireless Security.
4. There you can see the Security Mode. If the mode is set to WEP, the WEP Key 1 is your wireless key. If the mode is set to the WPA-Personal, the Passphrase or the WPA Shared Key is your wireless key/PIN.

Belkin F5D8233-4 router & I pod touch wifi

What I would try is while the wifi is unsecure go on the computer and open up the browser you are using, on your router the default ip address is 192.168.2.1moz-screenshot.jpg

type the router default ip address in the browser where you would normally type a web address www.google.com

Logging into the Router
You will see the Router’s home page in your browser window. The home page is visible to any user who wants to see it. To make any changes to the Router’s settings, you have to log in. Clicking the
“Login” button or clicking on any one of the links on the home page will take you to the login screen. The Router ships with no password entered. In the login screen, leave the password blank and click the
“Submit” button to log in.
Configuring the Wireless Network Settings
The “Wireless” tab lets you make changes to the wireless network settings. From this tab you can make changes to the wireless network name or Service Set Identifier (SSID), operating channel, encryption security settings, and configure the Router to be used as an access point.
Setting up an Allow Access List
1. Select the “Allow” radio button (1) to begin setting up a list of
computers allowed to connect to the wireless network.
2. Next, in the “MAC Address” field that is blank (3), type in the
MAC address of the wireless computer you want to be able to
access the wireless network, then click “<<Add” (4).
3. Continue to do this until all of the computers you want to add
have been entered.
4. Click “Apply Changes” (5) to finish.

this will allow only the wireless device you select to access your router.

IPAQ wireless connectivity

always start with the simplest answer first so make sure you have WiFi turned on. Think back, have you changed the wireless security on your router? If so you may need to re-enter the network details or add your iPAQ's MAC address to the access control list on the router. In the bottom right-hand corner of the home screen you should have a small HP Wireless symbol, if you tap it you should get your HP Wireless control panel on screen and can 1: turn WiFi on and off, 2: manually enter the WiFi network details and 3: search for WiFi networks in range.
