SOURCE: Burner will not turn off
I would first check the infinite control switch (#WB24T10029) the part the knob slips onto. The next thing I'd check is the erc (#WB27T10231) control board. Hope that is helpful!

The control switch for the right front burner is bad. A new switch will solve the problem.
The situation, while annoying is not dangerous.

either the power cord is shorted out or the voltage coming out of the receptacle is too low...reset the circuit breaker,it may be half tripped-the lights can operate at 120 volts, but the unit needs 240v to operate the burners

Replace the switch that controls this burner to get it back under control. This will solve your problem as the switch is what controls the burner temperature regulation.
