I have the Graco Glider XL that I bought from a yardsale for $15. The only thing I can get to work is the vibration part. The swing its self will not turn on, swing or music. I've tookin it apart... I do...

I have the exact same swing with the exact same problem, sometimes it will come on and sometimes it does absolutely nothing. It has made me very angry because i took it apart and cleaned the internals up, when i put it back together, it worked fine until my baby wanted to swing the next day, and then it refused to work again. Now the pile of junk is sitting at the edge of my yard after i slung it out the door. My advice, Throw it in the trash where it belongs and go buy a different brand because Graco is TRASH.

Graco pack play

Hi Carol, remove the fastener from the opposite side of the one that is missing and take it to a Home Depot or Lowes in your neighborhood. Some well stocked hardware stores may also be able to help. They have both metric and standard threaded screws and bolts and I believe the Graco uses metric. They have boards in the hardware department that should tell you which type you need.

It doesn't usually need to look the same to do the job but if they have nothing to help you out, you will at least know if it's standard (for example 10/24 x 1" which means the screw or bolt is size 10 with 24 threads per inch by 1 inch long) or metric (M5 x 0.8 x 1" which is the metric size closest to a 10/24 x 1") and the type of head, hex or bolt head or a screw driver head, Phillips or flat-bladed.

Armed with that information you'll be able to locate the exact replacement from hardware providers on the internet.

(If the head is unusual, take a picture)

Hope this helps,

The Tinker

Graco Magnum XR5 electric airless sprayer won't start

It could be something as simple as you have the pressure turned down so low it won't appear to be working try to turn the pressure up and see what happens.
The worst thing could be you did not clean the sprayer out properly and now the paint has dried and the shaft is frozen to the packings and the other internal parts of the your sprayer.

Graco magnum paint sprayer won't prime

Airless won't prime- I always start trouble shooting an Airless that won't build/hold pressure look at sump hose inlet filter (the hose that goes into the paint if its got paint debris on it clean off filter and pour the paint thru a strainer bag into a clean 5 gal bucket-also remove the filter housing on the spayer and clean and flush and replace filter and housing- the shaft or the metal sleave has two ball bearings called "check balls" that maybe stuck turn on sprayer and put a piece of wood on shaft and give it a few good taps this will knock the check balls loose if after all this fails then you need to have new packings put in becuase the old ones are worn this is pretty easy to see because the rod the compresses the paint will have signs of paint on it indicating that the packings are worn.. Note keep rod and other moving parts oiled ith graco throat seal and finally Graco sprayers with the X on them are there (Graco) home owner line of sprayers that sell at home depot they are rated for only a certain amount of Gal per year keep it in good condition and cleaned store with coro-check inside of the pump when you are done using it.....

I bought an older model Magnum Pro air nailer . We tried it out at the store and it shot fine but I didn't find out how much air pressure to use. Can you tell me how much and how often to oil the nailer?

Air requirement: 8 to 10 CFM @ 70 to 120 PSI, Air inlet: 1/4" - 18 NPT
and i would try to oil it regularly depending on the air supply if you use a older air supply it might condencate water a little more a newer unit might also have a water remover on it. Just a drop or two before use should keep the gun in good condition
