Question about Frigidaire FGES3045KF Gallery 30" Slide-In Electric Range - Stainless
Frigidaire drop in Gallery range Model # FGES3045KFB installed by builder. Recently large Front Right Burner only gets real hot when on #8 or above, there doesn't seem to be a med-low to med-high level. Just low and high. The other burners appear to continue to work fine. We have noticed, after this started happening that the glass top has seemed to 'pop off' the countertop. It is raised about 1/2" from on the back side. Since, of course, this occured just after my 1 year warranty was up on both the builder and Frigidaire, I don't want to pay for a service call if it is something I can fix myself. Any ideas or recommendations?

Check the element connections for good tight connections in both connectors. If ok, swap the element with one of the same size working elements and see if the swapped element works. If it does, replace the element. If it doesn't, the control switch or switch connections are the problem.

Hi Will Lawler - If the small element turns on but the large element does not, then more than likely, the range has a faulty burner or switch. If I was in your position, I would personally contact a professional for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repairs.

Hi - From what you have described the range could possibly be experiencing a faulty element/sensor or the communication to the element from the control board is now compromised. If you are referring to the left front element, the part number is 318178110/MSRP: $65.86. Right front element, part number 316224201/MSRP: $89.60. I would suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately and properly diagnose the range.
