Is there a button that is pressed in and blocking the next remote function? Was the remote dropped or anything that would could cause the metal under a button to come in constant contact with the plate below? Check the buttons by picking at them with your finger nail or something that won't hurt the remote. If this still doesn't help try popping the front off the remote gently to get at the insides. The buttons will be connected in sheets. There may even be a small foreign object between the button and plate.

VO37LHDTV10A 37 in Remote malfunctioning

Cheapest route is to get a universal remote and start over. Most remotes have their life span. Sometimes shorter. Any abuse of the remote by dropping, getting wet, etc will make it quit. Hazards of a little piece of equipment we don't see as important UNTIL it does not work!

TV comes on, then the blue light flashes, then stays on. The remote doesn't work when Input or menu is pushed. The remote will only turn TV on, not Off. The side buttons do not work either. I've unplugged...

Seems like a problem with the main audio/video board. Does the screen come on and stay lit? Please provide this info so that I can confirm the problem and offer you an appropriate solution.

Remote control doesn't work. Small red light stays lit.

First check the remote control with a similar TV.

By keeping a MW radio receiver you can check the functioning of the remote by pressing the keys. Radio will give garble sound!

If remote is OK , TV has to be checked.

Flasher lights stayed flashing, no gages would work.

Try Re-Activating the Remote System to Lock, Unlock and back to Lock again several times. Does the original problem re-occur? If so there is a problem with the Remote System, and possibly with the Remote itself sticking. Try Lock and Unlock and disconnect the battery. Wait at least 5 to 30-minutes before reconnecting. The remote itself you can take apart and check to see if the depress button is sticking causing the signal to be constantly sent over and over again.

I had a viper 5701 responder LE 2 way system installed on my 2006 dodge Dakota, everything works fine but my headlights and parks lights stay on constant while in remote operation and my park lights do...

If your vehicle has daytime running lights they will be on when remote started no real way around that try leaving your parking brake on.
The new vipers default setting is constant rather than flashing.
