Is there still a Model RBE97N thermostat in stock anywhere?

Unless you know for a fact the oven's thermostat is indeed broken burned up charred ect.. you may consider checking out this quick fix first. On these older models the over will not heat if the setting on the clock is turned to the off position. Check out where it says on the face of the clock right hand side of it "After cooking reset to Manual." It's very easy to miss or overlook. If your sure you need a thermostat I've found two in stock at a place online ... www.appliancepartspros.com and also Electrolux-Thermostat-Parts.com has direct replacements for that old Honeywell thermostat your oven uses.

After using the self cleaning feature of our Kitchenaid KEBC107KSS single wall oven, it will not heat up. After reading numerous complaints from other people with a similar problem it seems there is a...

If you slide your oven out and take off the center panel on the back of the oven you will see the thermal fuse. If it's like mine, it will be located (looking from the back of the oven) upper right hand side. It's an oblong loooking part with two terminals with wires attached to it and two screws holding it on. Once you take it off, you will notice that it is flat on the back side and you should be able to see part # 9759242. Only reason I know this is that I have just removed mine and am going to see if I can find one locally. Same thing happened to mine after putting it in the cleaning cycle to clean up after the holidays.
Hope this helps!

I GOT THE SAME QUESTION .. IT IS A GAS OVEN . WHEN THERMOSTAT IS SET TO GAS MARK 4 WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO 350 DEGREES , AFTER 10 MINUTES, IT REACHES ITS DESIRED TEMP. BUT IF I DON'T ADJUST THE FLAME, THE TEMP WILL RISE HIGHER AND HOTTER THAT I NEED TO OPEN THE OVEN DOOR TO DECREASE THE TEMPERATURE INSIDE. ANYONE KNOWS IF THAT IS NORMAL? I have a Kitchenaid oven model KEBC107KSSO. After using the auto clean, broiler and oven does not heat. Control panel works fine.

The thermal fuse on the back of the oven is out. Usually happens if the oven is installed incorrectly or the blower is too small to cool the back of the oven down while in self-clean mode.
I'd call KitchenAid (whirlpool) and ask if it needs the blower kit to fix it. Have your model&serial numbers handy.
In case it does not need the blower kit, the thermal fuse part number is 9759242, and it can be purchased here (use coupon "New10" for 10% off). Read my other post for the instruction how to get to the thermostat.

Dacor CPS 130 oven will not heat

This model actually made this way. Sometime you can not see the thermostat because of the bracket in front of the door latch. When you remove grill panel under control panel you gonna see this bracket. It pulls out very easy. Behind the door latch you will see thermostat with red button on the middle. Before resetting this button make sure you disconnect electricity.

Probably there is an electrical relay that has failed.. or if electronically controlled, the equivalent circuitry. Or maybe a thermostat has failed. Be careful with anything electrical, as these kinds of faults may need a trained tradesperson. They can be dangerous to play with, as you need to be able to take electrical measurements and use tools to repair this yourself.
