Remember the drawer is also 'plugged' into the timer, so do not bend small metal prongs on drawer.
This timer comes with 1 year limited warranty against defects in workmanship. The battery operates timer functions, so once battery is installed, the timer can be programmed before timer is installed in wall. Be sure to reset timer before programming to eliminate stray code on the memory chip. Once timer is programmed, the programs remain inside memory chip forever, even with power loss and no battery, until timer is reset of re-programmed. Reset this timer: Hold down on-off button and momentarily push round reset button with paper clip. Keep holding down on-off until display changes, then release on-off button and begin setting current time and programs.

Many Ford Escapes have power door locks as standard equipment. This system consists of a lock switch, lock actuator and wiring harness. When you depress the lock switch, it sends an electronic signal through the harness to the actuator. The actuator moves an internal piston that either pulls the actuator hook down or pushes it up. The actuator hook connects to the lock rod, which either locks or unlocks the door, depending on which way you push the lock button. While this system won't work with a dead battery, the mechanical lock system remains unaffected by electrical power loss.
Insert the door lock key into the driver's door lock.
Turn the key counterclockwise one quarter turn.
Pull the door handle up until the Escape's door opens. Once the driver door is open, simply open the remaining doors by pulling the interior door handles until the doors open.
Below the drive tray there is a tiny hole, straighten a paper clip and gently insert the paper clip into this hole. Push the paper clip and the tray will release and pop out, then pull the tray out to the fully open position.
I don't know if your Jimmy uses a separate voltage regulator or if it is integrated into the alternator; if it isn't it may be faulty. About this: > if I put a fuse in the int lights will not shut off, so i dont use it, Check the door switches at all doors and the hatch with the fuse installed and the lights on.One at a time, open a door, look for a button somewhere on the stationary frame, depress it and wait for the timer to shut them off each time; this may take a few minutes on each door. These lousy switches are not very durable and the little plunger may not be pushing them in far enough to open the switch, alloowing the lights to turn off when not needed. Our Jeep GC had this problem and I have put the small rubber bumpers used on cabinet doors on the contact point of the door to securely depress the switch buttons and the problem is now gone.

There are two ways to open the CD drive door if the button just below the drive tray does not work. Go to My Computer and right click on the drive and click on Eject. If this does not work then you can manually open the CD drive tray by - Straighten a paper clip and gently insert it into a tiny hole below the drive tray next to the Eject button. Push the paper clip gently until the drive tray pops out, then pull the tray until it is fully out, then you can remove the CD disc. If you continue having problem openning with the Eject button, then the CD drive may be faulty and needs replacing.
Locate the turrent on the top center. Just behind it is the On/Off switch. Behind it are 6 black, round engine-looking pods. That is the top cover. There are two tabs right behind the On/Off switch you push back on to remove the cover. Grab your screwdriver and remove the battery door. Uses 3 "AA" batteries.
