Question about Kitchen Ranges

Open Question

Hi, we have a candy cooker hood model no CCT61X and need to replace the metal filters as the previous owners have thrown them away. I am wanting the dimensions of these in mm to enable me to purchase a universal metal filter from a supplier I've found. Any help would be greatly appreciated

SOURCE: I need a replacement grease

I found the part number listed at searspartsdirect.com, but it does not show an illustration. The orginal part number you provided has been discontinued and substituted as #Y0612402. The part costs $23.99 and is listed as a filter, however. I found the part by using the "Find a Part by Part #" on the front page. For confirmation there is a toll free number and email address under the "Contact Us" menu. I hope this helps you.

Can I wash the cooker hood carbon filter

No! The material is impregnated with minute carbon granules which will have absorbed all the grease and moisture coming from the cooker, like little pieces of coke (smokeless fuel!!). If the filter is a cartridge type, a search on Google for the model may help. Search under "cooker extractor spares". If it's a cloth type, there are numerous cheap shop choices for universal filter material that you just trim to fit.

Purchased used 37LG30 TV and the previous owner had thrown away the stand. Where can I find one?

Hi there,
They sell LG screen parts at:

http://www.alllgparts.com/

Just type in the model number on the left hand side, under appliance search and it should list the parts they have in stock.

Hope that helps.

Problem with cooker hood

Filters clean? Fan running? No clogs in the exhaust?

On the one hand, you want the disagreeable stuff out of the kitchen - on the other hand, you want to keep your heated or cooled home air to stay inside.

Hi. How can I tell if the charcoal filters in my Smeg cooker hood need replacing? They cost £80 so I don't want to replace them unecessarily.

Hello,

Firstly operate extractor normally, hold a piece of A4 paper on the underside of fan and see how it holds it on the different speeds. Then if you can remove the charcoal filters then operate as before and compare the difference between the suction, this should tell you if it is the charcoal filters or a blockage in the pipe.

Hope this helps
