SOURCE: Can't turn off self clean

It was probably smoking because the goo in the oven was burning off as it should; that's how the s/c works. Turn it on and let it finish if you can. If not, then a thermal fuse tripped and you'll need the repair man. I cannot see your repyl due to some tech issue w/ the site, so it may be a day or so before I can reply again. Please leave feedback for me if appropriate. Thanks

Milk boiled over and leaked into glass window on oven door. Can I take it apart to clean it? Oven is self cleaning..will this be a problem? can disassemble. Consult the owner's manual for door removal instructions. The manual can be found at this link with the instructions for removing the door on page 22.

JBP78 Owner's Manual

The link below will show you the door construction. Lay them out in the order they came apart. Make notes if you think you'll get lost. It will be no problem if you reassemble correctly. Good Luck

Just find the screws around the oven door and start taking them out until the door comes apart. Remember how it comes apart and put it back together the same way.
