Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: Buttons work hardly on my Miele M625EG

I have the same problem with my M625EG-ed from about the same period. My repairman said that it would be at least 300 € for a new unit. I opened it myself and cleaned the keypad with alcohol or aceton. It's not working perfect afterwards but it is better.
There's a fuse you have to take out when opening. Otherwise you can have problems with electricity (be carefull). The fuse I had, broke down and I had to buy a new one for 20 eurocents. Also watch out with the parts where the door closes. I had some problems with that too and now (after a few months), I had to buy a new connector part on the door (its the part of the door that closes the door and gives connection for the lights). This costed 12-13 € but I'm trying to install it now.

You cannot clean between the glass only on the outsides! If the obstruction is between the glass this will need replacing!

What do i do?m625 eg miele oven smoke from top and turntable ceased working

Impossible to say what the problem is but if the turntable has stopped you could check the turntable motor. This is easily accessed from the bottom of the unit but you have to actually break the sheet metal tabs that retain it in place and replace using the screws only.

Miele M625 lightbulb replacement

If the owner's manual doesn't cover it and there's no obvious cover on the side or rear, you'll have to remove the outer wrapper.

See these files:
http://wwww.microwavedisplay.com/safety.txt
http://wwww.microwavedisplay.com/disassembly.txt

Often on a unit whose bulb is not meant to be replaced by the customer, the light is located on the right side in the air duct attached to the magnetron or on the top of the oven cavity.

Most bulbs can be matched up at hardware stores, home improvement centers, and places like Wal-Mart or even large grocery stores.

How do i remove the microwave from the fitted casing? i cant see any screws or places where the frame is clipped. its much cheaper to get it fixed if i take it to a shop!

The frame is fixed with four screws.
Remove the four little square plastics (black) on the upper and lower sides of the frame (front) and see the screws hidden behind.
Remove the four screws en see the lower part of the oven.
Unscrew the two screws on the floor, but not completely and pull the oven forward - it's heavy and a friend helping is better...
Unplug and good repair...

Turntable not rotating on my microwave

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again. If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes. You can download your owner's manual here: http://www.miele.co.uk/Resources/OperatingInstructions/M%20625%20EG.pdf On the last page it has the contact information for various countries. You can locate servicers or spare parts. The turntable system consists of the motor, the coupler, the turntable support with rollers, and the tray. You can see and hear a video of how a turntable motor should sound when you rotate it by hand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPSWi_z7M58 If yours is not set to be off via the control panel, and it won't rotate or it sounds like it's grinding, etc., you may have a bad motor or plastic coupler. We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.

Start button intermittent eg press many times (maybe 20) to start

Problem identified as plastic pushbutton on control panel, solution: interchanged with turntable on/off button (nevrer used). Had paid Miele €115 call out (for person who knew nothing about microwaves), Miele operate a closed shop. Local repair service say Miele will not supply parts, Miele designated repair agent will not repair microwaves, Miele will only send "engineer" to customer, no drop off facility. Was forced into buying new microwave oven from Miele as only way of recouping callout charge. Subsequently had a go myself with above positive positive result - now have a spare microwave cooker.
