Question about LG 50PC1DR 50 in. Plasma HDTV

Open Question

I was replacing caps and thought I looked at all of them and thought they were all the same but one is a different value. I need to know if anyone has anyway of helping with this.

I removed 9 capacitors on the power board. When I looked at them before hand they all looked like 3300uF 10V caps but one of them was actually a 680uF 50V cap. I found a schematic online but the cap they had listed with the locations were completely wrong.

What capacitors do I need to purchase to replace these blown ones in this avol tv?

U have caps in these sets all over the place - all different values and voltages.

Limit yourself to the caps in the power supply for time being. Look for leaky or bulging caps and replace those first. If that does not do it then you have no recourse other than to remove the caps and test each one with a cap tester. Those things can go with no noise or overt signs that they have gone bad.

ECS GeForce 9800 GTS+ Burn out of one small capacitor/diode as it not fully readable, it looks like C23, C25, C26, C28 (suspect C26). Need to know if its repairable or throw away? Is there a repairer...

If it's within warranty, I would contact the manufacturer to see if they'll repair it. Taking it to a repair shop would likely void the warranty.

Can someone tell me the values of the capacitors ?

EC18, EC19, EC20 are 1000uf/16v 105c
never had to replace EC9 and EC10 but should by the same value look at the size if the same as EC18 - EC20 I would go with the same value. It should be printed on the caps. If that did not fix your dead unit replace the power supply board and same time.

Check for the parts here:

Internal battery in Sony VCR.

These units use a large valued capacitor rather than a battery. If memory serves me corectly, on these units the cap is located on the front panel board. It is usually either a 1 farad cap or a 2.2 farad cap at 3V.

Dm board mit wd52525

The DM board is the one with the digital connectors on the back panel. If you already have it appart, you may as well check the caps on all of the boards. The caps that go bad are typically Jamicon brand caps in 1000 uF and 330 uF values. There are also a couple of 3300 uF caps in the PS that cause problems.
